What is Baptism?
We practice baptism by immersion, following Jesus’ example as described in the Bible. Mark 1:9-10 says, “Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan… he saw heaven open and the Spirit descend.” Matthew 28:19 instructs us to “make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Matthew 10:32-33 reminds us that acknowledging Jesus before others means He will acknowledge us before the Father.
