Pastors Ennio & Maribel Zaragoza Visioned of planting a church with a simple goal to help people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential. MLCC began in May of 2000 with the help of the Vision Team, people committed to seeing this vision become a reality.
From the beginning, MLCC has focused on reaching out to the non-churched community by building relationships through LIFE Groups, the life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of MLCC brought immediate growth.
In the beginning, we focused on reaching the Hispanic community because we saw a need that was not being served. As a result, we became the first Hispanic church to incorporate and establish itself by purchasing and building Route 8 campuses. As the church continued to grow, we began to extend the life-giving message into the lives of non-Spanish speaking people who were seeking a life-changing experience, the church continued to grow making it necessary to extend our services and develop ministries that met the needs of a growing church.
At the same time, the church helped plant two other churches and supported other ministries through missions. We have six churches in the Dominican Republic and four churches in Haiti under our Lead Pastor in the Hispaniola-Pastor Gevelon. We establish a medical clinic and a mission house with Pastor Roberto Orellana in the moutains of Honduras.
